On 25th June we had our annual shareholders trip using the Observation
saloon on a service train. With both locos in service on the day and
both manned by EMF footplate crew, we contrived to get both on the front
of our train for the last leg from Bewdley to Kidderminster - the first
time these two engines have been paired since the Ffestiniog AGM special to
Portmadoc in May 1965 and the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society's AGM special from Shrewsbury to Towyn in late September 1965. Photo: Tom Clarke.
